Rui Costa wins the Hungarian Baja and becomes the new leader

…of the Championship with just one point of advantage on Alberto Basso.

Alberto Basso confirmed his supremacy by winning all 6 special stages of the Hungarian Baja but due to a problem with his bike before the start of SS1 takes a penalty of 1 hour that cuts him out of contention for the final win.

Takes advantage the Portuguese Rui Costa, who wins, thanks to his regularly, the 2011 edition of the Hun-garian Baja in 4h:48′:52″ (Husqvarna TC 510) followed by Andrea Brunod in 4h:58’32″ (Husqvarna TE 449), which completes the double Husqvarna, and Liliana Calado who closes the podium in 6h:06′:17″. Behind Alberto Basso in 6h:14′:04″ that in addition to the penalties accumulated of 1h:16′:50″ (start and speed limit) got into a fall in SS 3 , due of too much forcing, to set one’s hope on to change the unfortunate race.

To assign the European title it is all postponed to Idanha-a-Nova in Portugal from 23 to 25 of September.
